Tampa Waxing FAQ's-Bott Beauty Waxing

Answers to Your Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to do anything to prepare for my wax?

For the best results, arrive with clean skin and at least 2–3 weeks of hair growth. Avoid heavy lotions, oils, or deodorant before your appointment. If you’re sensitive, you may find it helpful to take a moment to relax beforehand.

Do you offer services for all genders?

Yes — Bott Beauty Waxing is an inclusive studio offering services for all genders and body types.

What is a Manzilian wax?

A Manzilian wax is the male version of a Brazilian. It removes hair from the front, scrotum, and back area. We guide first‑timers through the process step‑by‑step to ensure comfort and clarity.

Can I get waxed on my period?

Yes — you’re welcome to come in during your period. Please wear a clean tampon or menstrual cup. Just keep in mind that the skin can feel a bit more sensitive at this time. If you’re comfortable, we’re comfortable.

Is Bott Beauty Waxing plus‑size friendly?

Absolutely. Bott Beauty Waxing is a body‑positive, inclusive studio where every body is welcome. We adjust positioning, support, and technique to ensure you feel comfortable and respected throughout your service.

Does waxing hurt?

Waxing can cause temporary discomfort, especially for first‑timers, but most clients say it gets easier with each visit. We use gentle techniques and high‑quality wax designed for sensitive skin to make the experience as comfortable as possible.

How long does my hair need to be?

Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice — typically 2–3 weeks of growth. If it’s too short, the wax may not grip properly.

How long will my results last?

Most clients stay smooth for 3–4 weeks. With consistent waxing, hair grows back finer and softer over time.
